Longtime El Dorado resident Connie Carpenter, died Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover. She was 75 years of age.
Connie Sue Jones was born on April 29, 1944 in El Dorado, she was the daughter of Delores E. (McKenzie) and Robert K. Jones. She grew up in El Dorado and graduated with the high school class of 1962.
She married the love of her life Jack Dean Carpenter. She worked as a realtor in El Dorado for many years.
Connie enjoyed traveling, scrap booking, going to the casino and watching old movies. She was a fun person who enjoyed getting together with friends and family and her loyal Bunco friends. She will be greatly missed.
Preceding Connie in death were her parents and her loving husband Jack.
Surviving family members are her daughters Kim Rebolz and Kendra Beardslee, 7 Grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 4 cousins Donna Voleker, Janice Smith, Debbie Belknap, and Kay Zang.
Her family suggests memorials be made in Connie’s name to the Susan B. Allen Cancer Center in El Dorado.
