Karen and Family, So sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I used to enjoy visiting Carol at McDonalds. It's tough to loose a dad. Praying for you all.

Bev and the whole Dunlap family was my 1st 2nd family.
We were inseparable for years. Carol was such a good father. He put up with all the crazy things we did. I'd spend the night and it was a full house for sure. We picked on Brent all the time. We would go to the kitchen and make brownies in the middle of the night. I remember Helen and Carol giggle a bit, then a shout from their bedroom, you girls don't burn the house down. Karen's room eventually became Brenda's room. We were always driving them crazy getting into their make-up, curlers, ect...., Carol was always sitting at the table in the morning with his paper and his pipe. His smile was contagious, I was ornery and I remember he'd try to keep a straight face when I would hide Bev's glasses in the morning. Bev wasn't a morning person and she'd get so mad. Carol would say that I better give Bev her glasses after she'd spent several minutes looking for them, then I went to the freezer and gave her glasses back. He'd wink at me as her temper was defusing. Brent
would giggle, and before long everone was laughing, even Bev. I have many memories to cherish of Bev and her parents. Thank you Carol Dunlap for giving me my best friend Bev. May God wrap his arms around your family during their time of grief. R.I.P. Carol. You will never be forgotten! Love, Roni (Sobba) Shindler.
