Brian Nathaniel Laney

Brian’s life began on September 8, 1969 in Fulton, MO; the son of Larry and Mary (Barrett) Laney. Brian was united in marriage to Koleen Stanfield on March 24, 2000. He worked hard for his family in the IT Department for the Butler County Courthouse. He enjoyed building models, doing the “Dad stuff”—attending activities and enjoyed music. Brian was a sci-fi junkie and enjoyed all aspects of it. His greatest joy was his family which includes his wife, Koleen of El Dorado; children Connor, Quinn and Avery; parents Larry and Mary Laney of Riverton, WY and brother, John (Joni) Laney of Wheatland, WY. Brian passed away on January 26, 2021 in Wichita. He is preceded in death by his grandparents. Friends may gather at the funeral home for a memorial service at 1:30pm on Thursday, February 4 at Carlson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the Kansas Honor Flight Program.
