Bobbie’s life began on February 17, 1933 in Ada, OK; the daughter of Eddie Sidney and Dovie Mae (Parks) Coleman. Bobbie worked several jobs including working the meat counter at Mike’s Apple Market for over 15 years. She also volunteered with the Parks and Recreation Department, running the concession stand at the McDonald Stadium. Bobbie enjoyed working in her meticulous yard and planting flowers. She also enjoyed dancing at the El Dorado Senior Center and especially enjoyed the Western Dances and jam sessions. Bobbie loved going to Wal-Mart and walking the store, always running into someone she knew. She loved people. Bobbie passed away on May 1, 2019 at her home in El Dorado. Her loving family includes her children Teri (John) Walker of Augusta, Eddie Sullivan of El Dorado, Marsha Sullivan of Laurel, Montana; grandchildren Keith (DeDe) Walker of Leavenworth, KS, Johnathan Sullivan of Chanute, KS, Jamie Sullivan of Chanute, KS, Brian Charles of Laurel, MT, Chelsea ( fiancé Adam) Charles of Billings, MT and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 5 sisters. Friends may gather with the family from 2-4pm on Sunday May 5 at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home. Bobbie will be laid to rest on Thursday, May 9 at 2pm at Walnut Valley Memorial Park in El Dorado. Memorial contributions in Bobbie’s name may be directed to the El Dorado Senior Center.
