I will miss Blaine's smile and the smell of cattle vitamins in his truck.

It was a great pleasure knowing Blaine. He was one of my favorites and will miss him greatly. I really enjoyed talking about cattle ranching in the flint hills and going out to BBQ. He had the biggest smile and always made everyone feel welcome. I hope those dogs turned out okay. My sympathy goes out to you all.

Blaine will be missed, but not forgotten. We're going to miss him and his ready smile at our high school reunions on Friday nights, sharing BBQ, beer and memories. May he rest in peace and receive God's mercy and love.

I was shocked to hear of Blaine's passing this past week. I worked closely with Blaine beginning in 1985 thru 1998 at Triad Drilling/UTI in Wichita. We continued our work relationship long distance thru 2004. Blaine was a hard worker and I had the utmost respect for him. I considered Blaine a very close friend. To all of Blaine's family, especially Kelly and Jan I extend my heartfelt sympathy. Blaine will be missed, what a great guy!

I just met Blaine recently, and liked him immediately...I had heard many kind things about him and they were all true...he was one tough rancher who loved his friends, family, his place, pastures and his cattle. But mostly he loved his wonderful wife Jan!
He'll be sorely missed by all.

An always fair and equitable business relationship with Blaine resulted in a long time friendship. I am fortunate to have shared time with Blaine.

I will truly miss working with Blaine. I know he had to get frustrated with me at times but never let on. He was always so patient and professional!

There is an old quote that "the measure of a man is how he responds to adversity". Blaine certainly measured high on that scale. I loved to haggle with him over drilling prices and would always tell him that there is "no crying in the oilfield". Today there is.

We really enjoyed working with Blaine with his cows. Always an optimist and easy to get along with. He was an inspiration to me, especially during his illness. We have many fond memories.

Blaine’s heart and compassion are greatly missed at Murfin. He is remembered as a caring individual who would work his scheduling magic to accommodate everyone’s desires and needs. Getting the job done right is what you could count on Blaine for. Working for Blaine over the last 7 ½ years has truly been a blessing. His humor and genuine heart are qualities we can all strive to emulate. May you all find comfort in God's loving arms.

Friends since high school, I've never known or met a better man than Blaine Miller.
I doubt that I ever will.
Gracious, loving, kind, fun loving, devoted to his family, friends, and animals.
Losing one of our "best" hurts us the most- family, friends, schoolmates, teammates, life-mates...
We'd best be ready. I am sure Blaine is hanging new basketball goal nets and has baseball gloves ready for all.
Peace to all who share this loss...

We have all missed Blaine here at Murfin for the months he's battled his illness. I will so miss being called "Buffalo Girl" by Blaine as he walked by my desk, that big smile, getting to see pictures of the new calves, and Jan and his dogs. We both had Oklahoma in common, so it was fun being an Okie right along with him. May you, the family, all heal in God's hands and enjoy the loving memories of Blaine.

Blaine always had a kind word and asked about our sons and how they were doing in their lives. He was always genuinely interested when engaging in a conversation. A caring, loving gentleman that will be greatly missed in the halls of Murfin Drilling and the Flint Hills of Kansas that he spoke of so passionately.
Rest In Peace dear friend.

Blaine and I were best friends from age 10 and through most of high school at Kapaun. He was a neighbor, a great guy, a great competitor in sports, and a great friend. We lost track at college, but I followed his news. I got a chance to talk to him a few months ago. I was thinking of him this week. I lost my breath when I saw the obituary. I'm sad for everyone who knew him and lost him, but a lot of good memories have flooded back to me. I'm saying prayers for him.
