Betty Ruth Griffith

Betty Ruth Griffith was born on March 13, 1931; the daughter of Joseph Jackson and Edith Violet (Wilcox) Hickman in El Dorado, Kansas. She married Robert L. Griffith, Sr. on August 17, 1947 in Florence, Kansas. Betty’s greatest joy in life was her family which includes children, Diana Griffth of El Dorado, Sherry Conrad of Towanda and Bobby (Sandy) Griffith of Rogers, Arkansas; grandchildren, Angela (Gregg) Sweet, Danny (Andrea) Conrad, Amanda (Nathaniel) Conrad-White, Joshua Griffith and Joey (Tracy) Griffith; 15 great grandchildren. Siblings, Gordon Hickman of El Dorado, Patricia Weichold of Topeka and Billie (Don) Bigellow of Rogers, Arkansas. Betty passed away on September 5, 2019 and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Griffith; brothers, Jerry and Jack Hickman and son in law, Tommy Conrad. Betty’s family will have a private inurnment at Sunset Lawns Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be directed to Interim Hospice or Temple Baptist Church of El Dorado.
