Barbara Hoffman

Barbara’s life began on August 15, 1954 in Wichita. She is the daughter of Oren B. and June R. (Hampton) McCabe. Barbara graduated from high school in Maize and attended Butler County Community College. She was united in marriage to Michael W. Hoffman on January 26, 1975 at the Broadway Christian Church in Wichita. Barbara worked in customer service for many years and had the best customer service “voice” ever. She was always there for those who needed something and loved her family dearly. Her loving family includes her children Max Hoffman and Rebecca Hoffman, both of Towanda; grandchildren Elijah Carney-McCabe, Dylan McCabe, Marissa McCabe, Talor Pursell, McKenzi McCabe and D. J. Martini; great grandchildren Maason McCabe, Audrey McCabe, Embri George and Brysan George. Barbara passed away at her home on Friday December 7, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Bryan McCabe, siblings Larry Karns, Sue Thomas, Debra Thompson, and Phil McCabe. Barbara’s family will gather with friends on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home where her service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Towanda Cemetery.
