Anita Gaylene Hildreth was born on September 16, 1940 in El Dorado, Ks; the daughter of Albert and Mildred (Moss) Silor.
Anita volunteered and later worked for many years at the “Safehouse” in El Dorado. She loved helping others and many who she worked with and those she helped later became great friends. Her prayer and blessing lists that she kept in numerous notebooks are full of the names of those people that were regularly in her prayers. Her family is so thankful for all of you and the joy that you brought to her.
Her greatest joy in life was her family which includes her sons, Matt (Renea) Hildreth and Scott (Jessica) Hildreth; son in law, Richard English; grandchildren, Amy (Brian) Cute, Kayleigh (Jon Manion) Wilson, Talli Wilson, Sloan Hendryx, David Hildreth, Hannah Hildreth, Eli Hildreth, Erin Hildreth, Alec Hildreth, Derek Hildreth, Landon Hildreth, Lily Hildreth and Charlee Hildreth; great grandchildren, Kylen, Clayton, Canyon, Kayne, Finley, P.J. and Ellie.
Anita passed away on March 7, 2022 at her home in El Dorado surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister; husband, David; daughter, Amy English; and her beloved dog, Molly.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at 1125 Oak, El Dorado, Ks on March 26th at 2 pm. Memorials in her name may be directed to the Family Life Center - Safehouse. Please sign her online guestbook at www.carlsonkirbymorris.com
