Addison “Addi” Jo Johnson’s life began on June 15, 2018 in El Dorado; the daughter of Christopher Scott Johnson and Janelle (Sharbutt) Jones. Addi had a special love for people and enjoyed being with her family. She loved her stuffed animals, loved singing and music. Addi was known for her “Addi”-tude. She was always happy and smiling. Addi loved her “cammo” clothes and enjoyed being outside. Addi especially loved her family which includes her mom, Janelle Jones of Leon; siblings Tiffani Gibson, Bridgett Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Owen Johnson, and Lily Johnson, special cousin Kaysi Abbott, grandparents Gary and Denise Johnson of Lawrence; aunts and uncles Regina (Doug Lentz) Abbot, Rebecca A. Sharbutt, Joyce and Frank Horner, Betsy and Nick Gallinger, Jeremiah and Nicki Johnson, Jeffrey and Mycah Jones, Justin and Megan Jones and Johnnie Jones; and nephew/brother Cole Woods; great-grandmother Kathryn Gile; and an entire extended family and several friends. Addi passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2020 in Leon, KS. She is preceded in death by her father Christopher Johnson; grandparents James and Rebecca Sharbutt, great-grandmothers Mable Posey and Clita Langley; great grandfather Richard Gile; aunt Rachelle Sharbutt and uncle Jim Sharbutt. Friends may gather with the family on June 15, 2020 at 3 Wooden Crosses Church at 6pm where a Celebration of Life will be held for Addi. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the Carlson Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses or to the Leon Fire Department Butler County Fire District #9.
