Aaron’s life began on August 20, 1961 in El Dorado; the son of Marion Garland and Hattie May (Strosnider) Wright. He attended and graduated high school as well as college and vocational school. He worked as a derrick hand on oil rigs. Aaron was loved by many. He was passionate about his faith and constantly worked towards a conscious relationship with God. Aaron was a longtime member of the Latham Community Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and camping. He loved being outdoors. Aaron was a firm believer in Alcoholics Anonymous and their ministry. He celebrated 27 years clean and sober. In doing so, he helped lead AA sessions at the prison. Aaron’s greatest joy was his family which includes his son, Joseph of El Dorado; sister Margaret (Trent) Thompson of Wichita; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Aaron passed away on April 4, 2020 in Latham. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings Marjorie Ann Wright, Dean Wright, Howard Wright and Joe Wright. Friends may gather at the Carlson Funeral Home on Thursday, April 9 from 5:30-7-30. We invite you to attend the visitation but remind you to practice social distancing. Current orders from Governor Kelly require attendance be kept to 10 people at a gathering due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Please rotate in and out to maintain the governor's orders. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the Latham Community Church.
