Tribute

Vicki Lee Lowmaster (Stevenson), born on September 7, 1941, in Great Bend, Kansas, passed away on March 3, 2024 in El Dorado. She was the wife of the late Master Sergeant Roy Lowmaster, Jr. and daughter of Leo and Mary Lee (Skinner) Stevenson.
Vicki was married on July 3, 1960. She was a devoted wife to Roy Lowmaster, Jr., a US Marine who served the country for 30 years. Throughout their military life, she supported him by moving to various bases every few years. During Roy’s deployment in the Vietnam War, Vicki sought solace in El Dorado with their family. Together, they were blessed with four children, Terry, Melissa, Cindy and Angie.
After facing the untimely loss of her husband, Vicki found work in several places in El Dorado, including WalMart for over 20 years. She was a resilient and hardworking individual who dedicated herself to her family.
In her leisure time, Vicki enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and in her younger years, she was an avid bowler, later transitioning to Wii bowling. Vicki also enjoyed watching game shows on TV as well as watching her “soap operas”. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and made countless baby hats which she donated to area hospital nurseries. She had many talents she shared with all who knew her.
Vicki is survived by her children, Terry (Pam) Lowmaster of El Dorado, Melissa Smith of Topeka, Cindy (Jeff) Kerns of Topeka and Angie Brown of Dallas, Texas. Grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kaleb (Beckie) Lowmaster, Brodi, Laykin and Aspyn, Stephanie (David) Brand, Abigail and Hannah, Aaron (Lacie) Lowmaster, Madelynn, Kandice (Michael) Crago, Kinsley, Kacie and Kaulder, Kelsey (Eric) Struttman, Addyson, Brynlee and Kyndal, Kassandra (Brandon) Kinney, Kyler Robertson, Wesley Kerns, Kaden, Makaela Kerns and Jessica Hillebert. She is also survived by sister, June Usery of Grand Island, Nebraska as well as many nieces and nephews.
