Butch was a good man and lifelong friend. First met when I was 16 and he was back from army. Did a lot of running with him and brother John. He will be missed by many. Condolences from me and my wife Linda to Darlene and Walker and family.

Our deepest sympathies to Darlene and Walker. Butch was a great guy and cop. Butch always had your back. His sense of humor and laugh always brightened up your day. We shared a lot of laughs and even some tears. RIP my friend.

Please accept our sincere condolences in regard to Butch's passing. He was one of the more interesting individuals with whom I ever worked. Whether it was about working on the railroad in New Mexico or driving a tour bus, Butch always had an interesting story to share. He will be greatly missed. Darlene and family, we love you and pray that God will comfort you as you say goodbye to Butch.

I worked with Butch as the "Senior Deputy" on Dave Brown's crew, i enjoyed working with Butch, he made the shifts good or bad, always enjoyable because of her personality and stories or jokes he would tell.
