I have been gone from the Sheriff's Office for years but I can still remember visiting with Jan like it was yesterday. She is a wonderful lady, who helped raise up a lot of deputies through the years. I can still remember when you were outside the old jail and I stopped by off duty and Caleb (at 5 years old) asked me...... " Is that Captain Murphy's mom".....Oh the laughs we had over that ! The world was a brighter place because of you Jan, you will be missed. Prayers for all of the family at this difficult time.

I was so sorry to hear of Jan’s passing. She was a dear friend, that I have always treasured. Jan and I used to spend quite a lot of time together in the church office...usually laughing hysterically at one thing or another. Thank you for sharing Jan with so many. She will be missed, but the memories will keep us smiling for years to come.
