Our deepest sympathy to Don's family. Hold tight to your wonderful memories. Don touched so many lives. He was a dear, sweet man, and our kids are better people from his influence. He was a good friend and neighbor for many years and welcomed our family to the Leon community 30 years ago. He will be missed by many.

Don was respected and admired by everyone, especially the kids who lovingly called him "Mr. B", that speaks volumes. I will always remember the "invisible" fish he had in his tank at the office and how he encouraged the kids to find them. As for me, I could not ask for a better friend or mentor. He was the most supportive Administrator a person could ask for as he helped with a Decathlon Track event ideas, a Handball tournament, and starting a Jr. High Wrestling Program. He is missed, my heart goes out to his family.

Mr. B was one of the kindest souls to walk the earth. He knew my sister had cancer but yet put a smile on her face. He treated all his students with the same love and compassion. He earned his wings. I will always smile when I think of him.
